Who we are

Money Move$ is an independent free financial education project at playmoneymoves.com. We are not a bank, broker, insurer, or registered investment advisor. Contact: hello@playmoneymoves.com.

What we collect (today)

On your device only: game progress, streaks, ranks, and settings (browser localStorage).
Optional email (waitlist): if you join the free 7-day plan waitlist, your email is stored so we can send that plan and product updates. Submissions are handled by our host (Netlify Forms). You can unsubscribe anytime by emailing us from that address.
Anonymous usage events: button clicks and level completes may be counted on your device (and optionally our analytics endpoint if enabled) using a random session id — not your name.
Technical logs: our host (Netlify) may process standard server logs (e.g. IP, browser type) to deliver the site securely — not for selling ads.

What we do not do

No credit card required to play.
No loot boxes or pay-to-win for minors.
No selling personal information to data brokers.
No open chat with strangers.
No tracking kids across other apps for ads (we are not an ad network).

Teens & children

Money Move$ is designed for middle-schoolers through adults. If you are under 13 in the U.S., please use the game with a parent or guardian, and do not submit an email address without a parent. Parents can review progress on the same device. We aim to follow the spirit of COPPA and school privacy norms: minimal data, no shady monetization of kids.

School or credit-union pilots will get a separate data agreement before any account system or class roster features go live.

Third-party links

The toolkit links out to banks, brokers, apps, insurance sites, and government resources (including Trump Accounts at trumpaccounts.gov). Those sites have their own privacy policies. We may later use clearly labeled affiliate links; if we earn a referral fee, it will never change the educational content on this site.

Your controls

Clear game data anytime in the game (Trophy → reset progress) or by clearing site data in your browser.
To remove a waitlist email or ask a privacy question, email hello@playmoneymoves.com from that address and ask to be deleted. We will process requests as soon as we can.

Changes

If we add accounts, payments, or school dashboards, we will update this page before those features collect new personal data.
